Why Fabric Quality Makes All the Difference — And How to Spot It

Not all T-shirts are created equal. Here's what to look for before you buy…

Have you ever bought a T-shirt that became unrecognizable after three washes? The shape fell apart, the color faded, the fabric pilled. That’s not bad luck — that’s the result of poor quality materials.

Fabric is the foundation of every great piece. A heavy cotton, above 200gsm, holds its shape and feels premium to the touch. The stitching should be uniform and tight — if it starts fraying from the first wear, something’s wrong. And the colors? Good pigment survives wash after wash without losing its intensity.

At Caspian we only use materials we’ve tested ourselves. Because we believe “best quality” isn’t a slogan — it’s a promise. And we keep our promises.
